The story began in February 2017 when a group of enthusiasts and specialists in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) was founded. At that time, this technology was considered a modern innovation, and this group became the first entity to sponsor and support those interested and specialized in this technology and its related fields. Since then, this group has actively contributed, through its limited resources and the efforts of its members, to spreading awareness, knowledge, and assisting those interested in this field.
The Beginning of the Association's Launch
In October 2023, approval was granted to transform this group into a registered non-profit association under the number 5434, and its Board of Directors was formed for a period of four years. At that point, the association began its role and operations as an official entity supporting Internet of Things technologies in Saudi Arabia.
